Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: No, there is no AC.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes we have a nice firepit out front

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a driveway that can accommodate 5 cars.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Trash gets taken to a central collection center in the community.

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: No 

LAKE WALLENPAUPCK INFORMATION

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

You may bring or rent a powerboat for boating on Lake Wallenpaupack. If you intend to go boating during your stay, please review the section in our General FAQ concerning the water levels to make sure your stay occurs within Lake Wallenpaupack’s boating season.

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: This property can access Lake Wallenpaupack via the community launch and beach area in WLE. Boat will need to be stored at the house when not in use. No boat slip available.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: The community has a launch minutes away from the house.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 5 beds: 1 King on main floor - master, 1 Queen in the upper left bedroom, 2 Full bunks and a twin in the upper right bedroom. There are two futons in the loft area for overflow sleeping space.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 3 Full bathrooms.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: There are 2 large flat screen TV’s.

Q: What appliances and supplies does the kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer, and Hangers.

A: The dining table seats 7 and 4 bar seats.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 6 people.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is a wood fireplace and you'll need to provide  your own wood.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: There is a propane grill and propane will be provided.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: Thre are two Kayaks for guests use. You will also have access to an indoor and outdoor pool as well as the lake/beach area at Deer Lake and Lake Wallenpaupack.
