Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning/Heat?

A: Yes there is central forced air heat and central AC.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: Yes. Towels, washclothes and hand towels enough for up to 12 people.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a nice fire pit outside the lower level doors in the stones. Please DO NOT move the fire pit.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 6 cars and a boat trailer. If you think you will have more cars or more boat trailers please contact the office for more parking information.

A: 4:00PM

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: We have weekly trash pick up. Garbage is to be place in cans provided.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community that has amenities.  It is a private lakefront and has a private dock and Kayaks for your use.

 LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront? Is there a dock?

A: Yes, the home is lakefront and there is a private dock available for use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The dock is large enough to accommodate any size boat, up to 2 boats and/or jet ski’s.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are in the water. You do not need a permit to use your boat on the lake. You are required only to have a drivers license. The boat should be registered in the state in which you reside.

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack accommodates all size boats and motors.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: There are three master suites all with their own bathrooms. Each with a king. The loft overlooking the living room has a Day Bed with trundle for another 2 twins and a pull out couch for another full - Loft sleeping a total of 4. The Lower Level Bedroom has double (2), twin/ single (2) - Notes: Twin Bunk bed and Full Bunk Bed

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 4.5 Baths - 1 shower in Master bath #1 (main floor), 3 bathtubs/shower combo’s and half bath in foyer.

Q: How many TVs are there?

A: 3 flat screen TVs with cable and HDMI cables.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide some options for entertainment such as Cable and WiFi.

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has a card table which is also a bumper pool table. We have a basket of small children’s toys as well.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer, and Hangers.

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A: The dining room table sits 6 and 3 at the breakfast bar. The deck has two large picnic tables for everyone to enjoy.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: There is a large sectional sofa that will sit 6-8 people comfortably. The lower level has large sofa seating 4 and various other area’s around the home for gathering.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is wood fireplace.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes for indoor and outdoor fireplaces

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There are two kayaks provided for guests use. There are 3 Adult Life Jackets, 4 youth, 1 infant.
