Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: There are two Mini-Split (ductless) AC units, one in living room and one in upstairs loft area.  

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a small firepit.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: After booking and before your stay you’ll receive a Welcome Guide that will give you instructions for driving. This house is on Lake Wallenpaupack.

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 4-6 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Garbage cans provided. Your Welcome Guide will tell you more instructions once you arrive.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A:  This home is not in a community that has amenities.  It is a private lakefront home.

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes. 

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, there is a dock that will accommodate 1 boat and/or jet ski’s.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! is safe to swim in. You can swim off the dock or from the shoreline. The shoreline is rocky so bring water shoes if you are sensitive.

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 5 beds. Two Queens, 1 Full and 2 Twins

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 1 bathroom with shower

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 2 TV’s

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A:   Each TV is a smart TV and has all the streaming capabilities that Smart TV’s have. Cable is abundant with many channels over the basic package. There are board games and cards for a fun family game night. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: We have an outdoor firepit and two kayaks and two paddle boards.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: It is our priority to make sure each home is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation with the comforts of home. This house has:

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, hair dryer, iron. 

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A: 8 in the dining room   There are three large tables out on the screen porch and back deck to accommodate all your guests.  

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 5 in the living room, 4 other chairs outside besides the ones at the tables.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: We have a wood stove in the living room.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: You will need to bring wood for the outside firepits.  

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There are two kayaks and two paddle boards. We have a small assortment of life jackets. Please bring your own if you have them.
