Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: No

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: Yes

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is an outside Fire Pit

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 4 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00 PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00 AM

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: There are trash cans and recycling cans at the property. You will receive further information in the Welcome Guide you will receive on pick up day.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A:  Yes there is a community swim dock you can use for swimming and fishing and a shoreline to put a chair and sit.

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home a lakefront?

A: No

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: You may bring or rent a powerboat for boating on Lake Wallenpaupack. If you intend to go boating during your stay, please review the section in our General FAQ concerning the water levels to make sure your stay occurs within Lake Wallenpaupack’s boating season.

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A:  Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate any size boat with any motor.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: The closest launch is Capri Marina.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! you can swim off the dock or from the shoreline. Lake Wallenpaupack shoreline is rocky so bring water shoes/sneakers. 

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: There are 3 queens and 1 full. Two bedrooms have queens, the 3rd bedroom has 1 queen and 1 full.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: There is 1 bathroom.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: There are medium sized flatscreen TV’s in the living rooms. The master bedroom has a nice size flat screen TV.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: This house has Smart TV’s but no cable/local channels. We also have a ton of board games/games

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

Q: What other amenities does this house have?

A: This property also has a Washing Machine/Dryer. Hair dryer, iron and vacuum cleaner.

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A:  The dining table seats 4 and there are 4 stools for the kitchen island.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: There is seating in the sunroom and the living room. There is a sectional sofa in the sunroom and a wicker setee. The living room has a 3 person sofa and a single chair.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is a wood fireplace.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes you will need to bring wood for the Outside Fire Pit

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There is a kayak and life jackets for your use.
