Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: No AC.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. 

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes, there is a fire pit and burning is allowed outdoors. However, always make sure there isn't a burn ban in place before building a fire. You will need to bring your own wood.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 5 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Place in cans at the end of the driveway.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community that has amenities.  It is a private lake front and has a private dock.  

LAKE WALLENPAUPCK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes, the home is lakefront and there is a dock from Memorial Day to approximately Columbus Day.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are out on the lake first! 

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate all size boats and motors. This property has a boat slip at the community dock and can only accommodate one motor-craft.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: Seeley's Marina.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 12: Bedroom 1- 1 King, Bedroom 2- 1 Queen, Bedroom 3- 1 Double, Bedroom 4- 3 Singles, Lower Level- 1 Single.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 Full and 2 Half Baths.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 4 TVs: 2 are very large flatscreens, 1 small flatscreen in master and 1 is an older style in loft.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a DVD Player, a Stereo, a Video/ VHS Player, Cable, WiFi, and HDMI Ports. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has a Small Air Hockey Table, and Various Board/Card Games.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

Q: What other amenities does this house have?

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, and Hangers. 

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A:   8 at the dining table, 5 at the bar inside.  There are two patio tables out on the deck that sit at least 4 each and a picnic table on the screen porch.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 6 people in the upstairs living room, 6 in the upstairs loft (4 around a game table and two on love seat) and 11 in the family room downstairs (7 on sectional sofa and 4 around game table).

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is a wood burning fireplace.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There are no water toys. However, there are life jackets of various sizes. There are several beach chairs for you to relax on!
