Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes, there are a few window units.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. 

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 2 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: We have private trash collection. You will receive directions on what to do with trash in your Welcome Guide.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: No there are no community amenities. The Lake Wallenpaupack is walking distance and Walt’s Landing is less than 1 mile from the house.

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: No

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A:  Yes, you can bring a boat and launch at Walt’s Landing just a mile from the house or you can rent a boat for the day there if you wish.  There is room at the house to park your boat when you are not using it.  

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate all size boats and motors.  

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: Walt’s Landing is the closest and Mangan Cove is the public free Wallenpaupack boat launch less than a mile from the house.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 2 Bedrooms: Bedroom 1- 1 Queen, Bedroom 2- 1 Double, Den - Pull Out Couch Loft - Futon.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 1 Bathroom : 1  tub shower

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: There are 2 TVs: 1 in the living, 1 in the Den

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as Cable and WiFi.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: 4 in the living room and 3 in the Den.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is wood burning stove. 

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.
