Q: What is the minimum age to rent these homes?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Do the houses have air conditioning?

A: Yes, Central AC. 

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes

Q: Are towels provided?

A: Yes

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a fire pit and burning is allowed outdoors. However, always make sure there isn't a burn ban in place before building a fire. You will need to bring your own wood.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the houses or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the houses!

Q: Is there parking at the houses? How many cars can we park?

A:  Yes there is private parking for only 3 cars.  

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Put in the cans provided. Pickup days are in welcome guide.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This is a private lakefront home.  There are no community amenities.

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home a lakefront?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: You may bring or rent a powerboat for boating on Lake Wallenpaupack. If you intend to go boating during your stay, please review the section in our General FAQ concerning the water levels to make sure your stay occurs within Lake Wallenpaupack’s boating season.

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: This property has a private dock that can hold two boats.  Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate any size boat with any motor. The docks always have at least 4 feet of water at their end, which is plenty of room for a large boat.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: There is a launch for boats next door at The Boat Shop.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES the lake is swimmable.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 6 beds: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins and 2 twins/trundle bed in lower level.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 full bathrooms

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 2 flatscreens, 1 in living room, 1 in master bedroom.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation to be relaxing and fun! We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a Karaoke Machine, WiFi, and HDMI Ports in the Smart TV’s. There are board games for both kids and adults as well. Monopoly, Scrabble, Password, Taboo, Wheel of Fortune, and many more….

There is a large hot tub for guests use. Guests are expected to follow the house rules for use and care of the hot tub when used.

A: The Dining Room sits 6 people, there are 3 stools at the sofa table. Outside has high top table with 4 chairs and picnic table with two benches (4-6 people).

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A:   Main living room can seat 5.    

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there are two electric fireplaces.  

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes, for outdoor firepit.  Almost all grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores all sell bundled camp wood.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane

Q: Do we need to bring Charcoal?

A: No, we provide propane  

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: Yes, 2 kayaks and an assortment of life jackets.
