Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes Central AC

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a nice fire pit between the house and the lake

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and accommodate 3 cars maximum.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Place in cans provided in parking area.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community that has amenities.  It is a private lakefront and has a private dock.

Q: Is the home lakefront? Is there a dock?

A: Yes, the home is lakefront and there is a private dock available for use from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are in the water first!

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack accommodates all size boats and motors.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 3 Bedrooms: Bedroom 1- 1 King, Bedroom 2- 1 Queen, Bedroom 3- 2 twins, and  Basement- 1 Trundle with two singles

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 Bathrooms: 1 showers, 1 tub shower.

Q: How many TVs are there?

A: 2 TVs. Main living room and Master Bedroom

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide some options for entertainment such as and WiFi and Smart TV’s. There is also a Karaoke Machine.

A: This house has Board and Card Games for a great Family Game Night!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: There is seating for 10 in the dining room and 10 outside.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 4 - 5 people in the living room

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: There are two electric fireplaces

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes for outdoor firepit

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane

A: No, that is always included in our homes.
