Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes, there are window units in each of the bedrooms.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a nice firepit with chairs in the back yard.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 6 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 3:00 PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 10:00 AM

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: Yes, you can purchase amenity passes for $7/day/person. Purchased passes gain you access to the pools, lake/beach area, fitness center and riding stables. All other Masthope amenities do not require an amenity pass and are free for usage. This includes the playgrounds, ball fields, hiking trails, ball courts and River Park. Guest passes also allow you to purchase ski lift tickets for 25% off at Ski Big-Bear.  Please follow this link for more information on the amenities available.

WESTCOLANG LAKE INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: No

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: No, Westcolang Lake (Masthope’s private lake) does not allow visitors to launch powerboats. Lake Wallenpaupack is within a half hour's drive if you're interested in powerboating.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! is safe to swim in. Masthope has a private beach for it's owners and guests.  It is a sandy beach with life guards and swim area with 2 swim docks.  

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 2 Double Beds, 4 singles plus 2 other singles in each of the twin rooms if needed. Also two futons in the loft.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 full bathrooms. One with tub/shower combo, one with shower.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 2 TV’s. One in master bedroom and one in living room. Smart TV’s only, no cable.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We have Smart TV’s to use your Netflix accounts with.

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has an air hockey table, pool table, dart board and board Games for a great Family Game Night!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer, and Hangers. 

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A: The dining table seats 8 and two at the Kitchen Island. There is outdoor seating for 4.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 6 in the living room and 6 in the loft.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, a propane fireplace.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes you will need to bring wood for the outside firepit.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane/charcoal?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

A: No.
