Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes, there’s is central air on main and lower levels. The two bedrooms upstairs have wall units.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A:  Yes there is a nice fire pit in the back yard and chairs

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 6-8 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: This community has a Central garbage drop.  Location will be shared in your guest book you will receive prior to your arrival.  

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: Yes, if you rent a home within a community you have access to its amenities. For this community you will have 10 amenity passes.Please follow this link for more information on the amenities available. http://www.wleonline.org/

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: No but Lake Wallenpaupack is a short drive from the house. There is also a community launch available. Please note, there is no overnight mooring allowed.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are in the water first!

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! You can swim in both Deer Lake and Lake Wallenpaupack, both have designated swim areas. Deer Lake has lifeguards with sandy beach. Lake Wallenpaupack shoreline is rocky and has a swim are and dock to fish from. There are no lifeguards there.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 9 beds: 3 fulls, 3 queens, 2 twins, and a futon.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 3 full: 2 shower and 1 shower tub.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A:  2 flatscreens - one in each living room and one in each of the top floor bedrooms. They all have cable, the living room TV has cable and many other streaming options.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as Cable, WiFi, lots of streaming options and HDMI Ports. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has a foosball table and Board Games for a great Family Game Night!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: 10: 6 at the table and 4 bar stool.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 6 people in the upper living room, 6 in the family room in lower level. 

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is a wood burning fireplace.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A:  Yes you will  need to bring wood for both indoor and outdoor fireplaces

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.
