Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes there is central air in both homes and there are ceiling fans as well.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. Bed linens include; sheets, pillows and lightweight quilts

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No. you will need bath towels and beach towels

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A:  Yes there are two fire pits on the property

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 10 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation). You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Hand towels in kitchen and bath are provided.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Leave in the cans provided.  You will receive trash day information in your digital guest book you will be sent prior to your arrival.  

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community with amenities.  It is a private lakefront with a private dock.  There is a small playground available at the community lake access 2 lots down.  

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes, there is a "U" shaped dock that can hold up to 3 boats and there are also 2 jet ski ramps.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are out on the lake first.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: House 1 - 7 beds and 1 pullout: 2 queens, 3 full (two singles, 1 bunk), 2 twins (1 single, 1 bunk), 1 pullout (downstairs sofa) plus an extra twin mattress in the bunk room if needed.

    House 2 - 7 beds and 2 pullouts: 3 queens, 1 full (bunk), 1 twins (bunk), 2 pullouts (lower level and living room sofas) plus an extra twin mattress in the bunk room if needed.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: House 1- 3 full baths: 1 shower, 2 shower tubs.

     House 2- 2 full and 1 half: 1 shower, 1 shower tub

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: Main house has TV in the Main Living Room, Family Room downstairs and 1 in the Master Bedroom. The Chalet has a TV in the Family Room downstairs and in the living room.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as Netflix, a DVD Player, a Stereo, Cable, WiFi, and HDMI Ports. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has a Volleyball Net for some great outdoor fun!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. Both houses for this property have:

Q: What other amenities does this house have?

A: These properties also have Washers and Dryers, Iron/ Ironing Boards, Vacuum Cleaners, Hair Dryers, and Hangers. 

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A: House 1- 18: 12 at the table and 6 barstools.

     House 2: 6 at the table and 4 at bar.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A:  House 1:  5 in the main living room, 14 in family/game room in lower level.  House 2:  3 in main living room, 5 in lower level family room

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there are multiple gas fireplaces.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes, the fireplace is gas but there is a fire pit you may use outside.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane. 

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: Yes, there is 1 kayak, 1 stand up paddle board, and some pool noodles. There are a variety of life jackets, please call the office to find out more. There are also many different kinds of chairs throughout the property and a picnic table down at the lakefront.
