Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Each Bedroom has a Mini Split AC unit.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. 

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes, there is a fire pit and burning is allowed outdoors. However, always make sure there isn't a burn ban in place before building a fire. You will need to bring your own wood.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: Please refer to the Welcome Guide for specific driving directions.

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 4 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Place in cans at the end of the driveway.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community that has amenities.  It is a private lake front and has a private dock.

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes, the home is lakefront and there is a dock from Memorial Day to approximately Columbus Day.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are in the water first! 

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate all size boats and motors. This property has a boat slip at the community dock and can only accommodate one motor-craft.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: Seeley's Marina or Ironwood Point.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES!

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10: Bedroom 1 - 1 Queen, Bedroom 2- 1 Queen, Bedroom 3- 1 Queen and 1 twin, Bedroom 4 - 2 Singles

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 3 Full (Two are Master Suites) and 1 Half Bath.

Q: How many TVs are there?

A: 1 large TV in the living room and one in each bedroom. All equipped with Roku.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as board games, books and Streaming TV.

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has a kayak for use in the lake.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: This property also has a an Iron, central vacuum cleaner, hair dryer and Hangers. 

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A:   6 at the dining table, 4 at the kitchen breakfast bar four at the kitchen table and 10 at the patio table outside. 

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 8 people in the living room, 4 in the screened porch.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: The fireplaces in the house are NOT TO BE USED. This is for safety and liability/insurance reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Q: Is there a Firepit. Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes. We have a firepit lakeside and yes you need to bring your own wood. Almost all grocery stores and convenience stores/gas stations all sell camp wood. You may even find a few bundles at the ends of driveways people are selling.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There is a kayak to use. You must bring your own life jackets for the sizes you will need.
