Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: There is an AC unit in the loft and various fans throughout the home.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. 

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes, there is a fire pit and burning is allowed outdoors. However, always make sure there isn't a burn ban in place before building a fire. You will need to bring your own wood.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 5 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Place in cans provided.

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: Yes, if you rent a home within a community you have access to its amenities. This community provides a community dock area with picnic tables and space to sit with your own chairs.  There is no boat slip.   

LAKE WALLENPAUPCK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: No, the home is not lakefront. However, you do have access to the Woodland Hills community beach area.

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though there is no boat slip available.  You may be able to rent a boat slip from one of the local marina's.  Please see our list of local marina's to call for availability.  

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate all size boats and motors. 

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

A: There is a boat launch in the community.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8: Bedroom 1 - 1 double, Bedroom 2 - 2 twin/ single, Bedroom 3 - 1 queen, Loft has pull out couch- sleeps 2.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 Baths: 2 tub showers.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 2 large flatscreens.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We want your vacation at our rental properties to be as comfortable and fun as possible. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a DVD Player, Video Games (Nintendo Wii), Cable, WiFi, and HDMI Ports. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has Various Board/Card Games and a Nintendo Wii.

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A:  4 at the table, 3 at the bar, 6 outside.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A:  7 in the living room, 6 in the loft, 2 in the gaming room

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: There is a fireplace but guests are not allowed to use it.

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes for the outside fire pit.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: There are no water toys.
